Folks...

SPACE has ended.

When my image got picked last week I was honored and excited to get the pick for this week.

But I have been dreading this moment all week. Each time another nice piece was submitted my

heart sank a little further.

I have to pick a single winner. That stinks.

I've gone through all entries. These are all my "runner ups"

I love "There's No Space Left in the Jam Jar!" by solosater.

I think all of five's perspective pieces were cool.

MugDots2 made me laugh.

Autumn's piece was cool and interesting.

Eekie made me laugh too.

Puzzler's "Watch This..." made me think.

Puzzler's "Skylab" was exactly the type of pic I was hoping for.

Lynnspotter's "Space Between My Ears/ Unused Space" is fun.

Matthew's "The dark space beyond" was eerie and on-message.

Ernie's "Space Invaders" again made me laugh.

Matthew's "Automated Space Dust Mission Abandoned" confused me but I liked it a lot!

JShundo's "SPACE: Saturn is Not Just a Car Brand" was clever, colorful and beautiful.

Matthew's "1/2 Earth in shadow from the moon" was the best runner-up out there.

Arw65's "My space" was ridiulously creative and original.

MidnightPoet's "Don't Panic" would have been my pic for winner if they could've gotten it

right (love this pic Midnight!)

LaDonna's Crab Nebula is also one of my favorites and is realistic and accurate.

Unfortunately the medium (Animals) was too rough to do the subject justice.

This short list is just incredible. Ernie's piece actually made me spit on my monitor when I

re-read the title.

Matthew and JShundo's stuff is incredible. I mean that sincerely. And while I did include

"Inner Space" in this challenge I have decided the weight of work by all tends to the outer

space and SciFi space and I am going to lean that way with the group.

Everything in my head is saying Arw65 should win this outright. All of it is incredible. And were it not for a single pic submitted "Cloudy moon/earthrise" would have been my outright winner.

But! At the risk of great controversy...

I realized that this is MY pick to make and I'm going with my favorite. So I apologize to everyone beforehand that might disagree.
