This is a "Moonflower" (albeit, in a rather Georgia O'Keefe style), one of the several forms of Datura.

Datura is often called Sacred Datura, or Loco Weed, for its hallucinogenic properties. It's very dangerous, cattle sometimes die from eating it in a field, but Chumash Indians of California in centuries past regularly used small doses of it as a coming-of-age ceremony.

The flowers open as night darkens... glow in the moonlight... and close again shortly after dawn.
