Tater, so sorry to hear about your friend passing away. On your birthday, and on Christmas Day. Very sad.....don't know what to say except, I wish it wasn't so. Will be thinking of you...Allie was lucky to have you for a friend.

nod... we're different kinds of friends tho'. Not the sort you know face-to-face or play with directly... and we couldn't replace her even if we were.

But there's a goodness in people, a caring... a desire for fairness... and we're doing our small part toward that. You deserve it, even if you've left and don't see this for a long while. The doing counts.

That's a big question and one that's hard to hear a kid ask, but grown-ups ask that question too. Wish I had an answer for you, but I don't.

Well ... someone once told me life is like living in ONE room of a super-gigantic mansion, in the middle of a gigantic town with other gigantic homes and parks and on and on and on. But, because when you are on earth you can only live in and see and experience ONE room ... you don't see the whole picture.

I can't answer the "why", QSilv--it is one of life's painful mysteries to me. But I hope your faith can comfort you, Tater, as it has for so many others at times like this. I think Christians would say your friend is in a better place now, but it's a test of one's faith to truly believe that.
