It evokes feelings of profound sadness that their was a need for him to serve his country in this way, and at the same time a feeling of fierce pride that he did so willingly and with great courage and honor.

never mind I still think this picture is great, invoking the Beatlemania period of the sixties. I never even noticed the mikes to be honest. Good picture.
