Thank you everyone for playing.I loved all of the drinking vessels, from the flute from Vals, to the delicate wine glasses created by Spam. Q and Five, your inimitable coffee/teacups were stunning. Clorophilla and Shanley, what can I say, I could smell and taste the coffee just by looking at your drawings. Lynnspotter, your cup and the silly sun made me smile!

Normal is the winner of the challenge. I have a soft spot for German items (mmm..never guessed that would you with a name like Heidi?), and for Durer. Congrats, and look forward to your challenge.

Yay Normal! I love that stein! The heavy, ornately painted ceramic ones are marvels, but oh my heart goes out to the lidded pewter tankards with pictures etched in glass bottoms! heh heh....

Surprise! Thank you, Heidi. I feel like those winners at the Academy Awards who tell us that everybody else was far more wonderful, but I'll take the Oscar home anyway. No idea yet for a new topic - will have to think fast.
