Thank you for getting back to me here. I just looked again and there's no email. I don't remember losing my internet connection, but...gone is gone. Thanks for letting us know you are working on an auto-save or timed backup. It is very hard to lose a picture you've worked on for so long. I do have a screenshot that I took about 30 minutes before it was completed.
