Extract from Rachel's comment on 8 May 2009 - TD Feedback - Open email to Rachel: ... "Finally, the next feature should be the ability to add favourite pictures to a personal gallery and/or subscribe to follow other artists contributions. Again, in time this could be incorporated into the Top 5 system to improve the choice."

The way I took it was to mean...

Incorp into top 5 = we could place pics in a "top 5 quality" "personal gallery" & the pics chosen in the most galleries would make the top 5...

I am sure there is a lot of work to do to make this a reality if my understanding is correct...

I do believe this would work well if they also could make it so nobody could see your choices & make it so one person = one login ID...

I'm missing because I'm painting real pictures for a show in Oct., and don't have time to do both (except when I was stranded by the floods) but there are several people not showing up (Qsilv, Matthew, others).....

Thanks for looking in, Luna. Good luck with the show in October.
You mention two artists who are sadly missed ... I haven't seen inked_gemini since August. kmkagle has had surgery and may be very uncomfortable for a while There are other talented folk who just don't seem to be around.

I also hope kmkagle is recovered. I miss her native Americans and her talent in general. Get well and come back soon please. Don't be lazy everybody

There are lots missing here, and do think the voting is different. I myself do not understand it, nor the favorites. But, also don't care about the Showcase or Top 5!! So for me it is unimportant!! Some of us are doing shows, drawing on other sites, and just busy. When it gets close to the Top 5, several will be back to submit late as usual!! We all need a break sometime and don't worry, our friends will be back!! Plus, there are alot of newbies to vote for!! Nice drawings too!!

I sat & did a pic tonight... was drawing for 2 1/2 hrs when my laptop shut down... I was soooooo close to finishing... I tried to recreate it, but that was another hour wasted...

Maybe next month...

I have a question-- How do you know what vote rate you got, Is there a place to view the #s.

Another question---Is there a way to find a particular artist without clicking on their pics.? Like is there a list of artists somewhere on this site??

mouse, if you go to the Gallery page and type in the artist's name in the Search by Title section it will ask you 'Did you want to see pictures by ...' and you can go directly to their gallery.

.. and if you click on a pic, and then hover your cursor over the stars in the Rating bit, it will show you what the rating is, e.g. 5.0, or 4.67, or whatever

Dragon ... I never knew you could search by artist's name. WOW! Thanks for this tidbit. Gee whiz. Still wishing TD had a navigation chart or instructions somewhere. It is fun to figure things out on your own ... but making pics without knowing about the repeat button for two weeks still makes me laugh. Also without knowing about the "undo" feature. Those were a tricky couple of weeks. : )

I didn't know about the repeat button for at least three days. That's why I tried not to use things over again. It appeared too much of a hassle.
