I am getting ready to go pick up my daughter from school... We will sit & go through all the pics when we get back... So hurry if you want to get one in...

Not sure if the best pic will win, because who knows what will impress her at 5 years old... I plan to sit quietly & not lead her one direction or another...

It wasn't easy for me to keep my mouth shut while she picked... My personal favorites where Lynns animation & qsilv's make a wish...

...I nearly busted out laughing when I showed her Qsilv's pick & her response was "Uuug-LY"...

Congratulations, LaDonna. Those balloons looked attractive to me, right from the start. I consider Q'silv's to be a masterpiece but, somehow, sensed that it would not be a 5 year-old's choice.

Yeah (guilty look --with a twinkle), I knew it at the time I was doing it, but just couldn't resist the direction it was heading. You know that feeling?

I hope, matthew, that you do tell her the artist agrees with her! And why--

-- it's dark overall, the brown lines are heavy, especially those eyebrows and upper lips! So it winds up more dramatic than cheerful. (At 5, she probably understands "drama", right?)

On the other hand... you did say, "Impress a child" ...I gather it made quite an instant impression! LOL
