Our cats are immune to such things.
Robert is forever bringing home things to interest them, they are forever ignoring them.
Their favorite place to sleep is always the last piece of clothing that Robert took off. Their favorite indoor toy is the little curled plastic band that secures the lid to the top of a milk jug when you bring it home from the market, unless they manage to smuggle their favorite outdoor toy (live chipmunks) into the house.

I DID have some of each pie. And wouldn't you know, she left some with us so I had ANOTHER slice after dinner!

Had NO idea there is "fake" bacon. I should try it because I LOVE bacon and so rarely eat it because well ... bad for you.

I'll ask my friend his thoughts about making amends to Viet Nam vets. Was just so shocked, and interested, to hear him sharing that thoughts of amends did not enter the old bean.

But now it's late and I'm filled up from good food, good sharing, good laughs and good friends! Blessings to all and sweet dreams to those who like dreams. ZzZzzzzzzzzz....zzzz...zz ......... z...........................

Baldur, I've found that if you spend any money on something for a cat they will completely ignore it but will perhaps play vigorously with the packaging it came in. Our cat tree's seem to be the exception in our house. If I get something for free for them or if it was never intended for them in the first place they love it. Oscar (my brat) has currently decided that the best cat bed ever is the top of the wheeled tote box I use for my farmers market stuff. It has solid sides but a fabric top and when he climbs in it sinks a little and make the perfect cat bed. I'd be mad at all the cat hairs on top but I do sell cat toys so perhaps it could be a selling feature.

'All Baldur, All the Time'

Robert is holding a yard sale today at Chez Baldur. Happily someone bought one of the four potted faux poinsettias. Maybe she'll come back for the other three.
Hopefully someone will buy my IKEA floorlamp. It's very nice but is no longer needed here, Baldur has been buying vintage floor lamps and refurbishing them. The IKEA one is now the poor stepsister.
She would be quite happy in someone else's home.
Anything we don't sell will get packed up for Matthew of Shrewsbury tomorrow

You know what... I'm happy... (done in the voice of droopy dog)...

Dragon - funny about Oscar's new sleeping place. Wonder if all cats are fond of sleeping on, or otherwise claiming, anything that goes in and out of the house? Ours are like that - sensitive to any new thing.

Wish you could have seen Puck the cat when I came home with baby smells the other day. He had the hardest time trying to decide if it was okay for me to have that smell or not. Finally I washed the hands and seemed to get acceptance.

Thing is, babies don't generally take to me. But, last Fri. I met a baby who felt different. Third time this has happened in 50+ yrs so, rather startling. Little Grace (3 months old), saw me, latched on and would NOT let go. She did not want her grandma, did not want to lie down - all she wanted was for me to hold her and I had to do it so she felt she was sitting and chatting with us. It was very funny.

Matthew - glad you're happy.

Baldur - best wishes for yard sale. Already have nice floorlamps so won't be stopping by but bet someone will want it. Floorlamps are so very nice!

My cat, Louie, either likes to sleep in my always open suitcase, or my always open vanity drawer.

'All Baldur, All the Time'

Well here we go, Radio Baldur's brand new Puzzle-a-thon.
Because we here at this station are quite in-tune with our listening audience we have devised an evil puzzle that is not our run-of the mill cryptogram
Your host has devised 24 lines each containing 24 letters.
The 24 lines however, are NOT in their proper order.
Each has been labeled with a word or phrase that one would encounter in American English. This might seem to put the non-US players at a disadvantage, but I believe it is still decipherable to anyone who follows this program.
To play
Using the titles given each series of letters determine the correct order of the 24 lines and re-arrange them into a 24 by 24 letter block.
Baldur would suggest transferring everything to graph paper (search free graph paper on Google and print up a page with large squares).
Then use this block of letters to play 'word search'
The block contains 57 words or phrases relating to think draw. They may be hidden vertically, horizontally or diagonally and may appear backwards or forwards.
The shortest word is a 3 letter name, the longest a 22 letter phrase.
By random luck there may be more than 57 answers hidden in the grid.
Anything that is speeled incorrectly is not admissable as an answer, and you may be certain that Baldur has added plenty of tempting but wrong words.
Have fun!

Baldur should add that the words used to name each line are NOT part of the word search portion of the game, once the lines have been placed in the correct order they may be disregarded.

MaddyJean you seem quite smart, but some people don't like certain kids of puzzles.
I've been posting cryptograms here for a while and got requests by the anti-cryptogram crowd. So I complied

Are they all words or are there also phrases?
