As for my last story, the word menagerie got me thinking, it reminded me of part of the movie 'The Last Unicorn' (which was also a book). There a was part where the unicorn was captured by an old witch who ran a travelling menagerie. She used magic to make ordinary animals look like fantastic creatures. Because nobody believed in unicorns anymore the people saw the unicorn as a simple white mare and the witch had to put a magic horn on her to fool people into seeing her for what she really was. In my story I thought that Riga (the young sorceress) might think Inaru was hiding the unicorn in plain sight by making it appear to be one of the animals or one of the wagon horses when in reality she'd let heer free years earlier. |

381 word is the maximum length, right? |

with most of the thinkwrite lists, the word count is the EXACT count you have to hit, not a min or max |

Thanks mouse. Your word list was wonderful, I'm glad I had a chance to write with them. I'll get thinking on a new word list, I hope it inspires as many great stories as there were on this thread. |
