Rachel could you please consider adding a delete/amend button for comments made accessible by the author of the comment only, many times I have wished to change or delete a comment because of bad information of typo error, it would not affect TD directly. |

I agree.. so often I've added a comment, and then re-read it and realised it came across meaning something totally different.. or there was a really stupid typo.. |
||

ya there has been alot of mean comments that i would like to delete! |
||

Personally I like the fact that they cannot be changed or deleted. That goes for ones I leave, and those left by others. |

but ferretkiss, not everyone has your fluent, concise, infallible way with words... personally i need this option after about 1/2 the comments i leave. |
||

being coherent isn't my strong point, so I'd aprreciate this kind of option too. (i've been mumbling at my own comments from a long time ago and will probably continue to be unsatisfied with them. ) however, wasn't the 'save?' button a priority on the wishlist? oh...there goes me being very coherent again...see what i mean? |

I too think there should be a delete button for your comments, I'v had alot of typo's myself..... |

What we need, is for more people to add there opinion regarding this request; so that Thinkdraw can realise that there is a need for this kind of option. |

I agree with this idea as quite often have written something and then felt could be misconstrued. Words can be taken so differently in different cultures and I for one certainly do not mean to cause offence. Although I suppose obviously best to re-read your comments before you hit that button - although I know sometimes time is short! |

Would Rachel consider implementing such Ideas? |

I realise that out of over 14000 people who have registered with TD only a regular few actually have a voice, so the bulk of public opinion falls against us automatically, but I would ask you to consider that the people who do share there opinions on here represent a vast community, which I hope gives more emphasis to our requests. |

well.. the Think Draw Forum was designed for us to give feedback to ThinkDraw.. but we've tried other means of making it clear that we'd REALLY like something.. e.g. http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=96765 |

Wouldn't it be nice if TD would benefit from the help of its own users? You know...suggest something, get approval from TD for implementing it, writing the script and then get feedback on it or simply let Td use it? Just saying...it must be difficult for TD to keep up with everything we're asking for. (going back to my day-dreaming) |

One thing to note also is that if you do get a really offensive comment on your picture you can contact Rachel by e-mail or in Feedback forum and ask her to remove it. It may take a couple days but she's very good with this sort of thing. |

Qsilv, I was merely mentioning a solution for an ideal e-world. Surely, nothing's simple and even moderating a discution is a difficult thing, 'moderating' software implementation is even harder, but you have to admit it would be nice if that was possible. I mean, given the fact that TD would approve it and all contributions would be well-intended and well-implemented. |

Thank you for your contributions, Qsilv you are correct to point out that there would be some difficulties in implementing the necessary software updates to enable requests, but there is a valid argument that some of these updates would benefit TD and assist the people who use this wonderful site, we are not demanding anything but have the ability to use these forums and suggest possible improvements. If these ideas cause difficulty then they simply will not be used. But I hope that some ideas might be used to further improve a wonderful web site. |
