belladonnis	In addition to painting with my mother she also sang us lullabies. Pick your favorite one from your childhood and from the lyrics put the song to canvas. If your memories fail you there are websites that feature lullaby lyrics pick your favorite and go with it. Maybe with this challenge we can also put to sleep some of the biting comments Ive seen. Good luck to all and we will put this baby to sleep on Wed Aug 7th!

solosater	This sounds like fun! I'll have to do that online thing, I don't know any. Good job, making me work for it, that's a real challenge.

belladonnis	Just a funny side note to this theme. My oldest daughter Ash doesnt want me to sing her to sleep any more, and hasnt for quite a while. She prefers to sooth herself to sleep by what she calls her "Serra toons" cartoons she makes up in her head to help her fall asleep! Serra is her first name by the way.

Normal	OK, I did a lullaby illustration, but I'm far too dense to get it onto this page. Sigh. Had nice instructions earlier - still can't do it! Could be old age, or just old fogy.

marius	I don't have time to draw this lullabye right now ... if someone else does, then please draw away. I've sung this to many a child and they ALWAYS love it. It's called "Stay Awake" from the movie, "Mary Poppins." Stay awake, don't rest your head, Don't lie down upon your bed, While the moon drifts in the skies, Stay awake, don't close your eyes. Though the world is fast asleep, Though your pillow's soft and deep, You're not sleepy as you seem, Stay awake, don't nod and dream. PS I tried to listen to it on youtube but got message that youtube is temporarily down. Anyway, it's a wonderful lilting melody.
