Found this really interesting artist from here in Idaho. He makes art out of pine needles from the mountains here in Idaho, and carvings from deer and elk antlers. Check out his stuff...it's really cool!

I was studying for my vocabulary quiz for my 3D art class and noticed that the term "for art's sake" is included in one of the definitions. My teacher describes the meaning of it as - that art should be purely about the creation of beautiful effects; the idea that art can or should be like music - that just as music is patterns of sound, art's effects should be created by pure patterns of form, color, and line. -
