Thank you a4e4ka! I loved this challenge, and it got me to do a picture I really love and might not have thought of otherwise. I'll have to think about the next challenge. I'll post a new thread as soon as I've got it worked out.

Thank you all for your contribution to the PETS challenge! It is very hard to choose one out of many wonderful pictures. You shared your love and memories of the pets who once stole a part of your heart and in return gave you a gift of unconditional love! Mama Kitty or Inspector by Luna and Qsilv , little Jeffy by Gwinnyb, Chin-Chin by Mostblessedone , 19 different doggies be Kathy are remarkable portraits of friends that one never forgets. Nadia has 11 pictures of animals in her portfolio of 36. That tells you something about the artist... Mrosovsky's cat, the live watcher is so cute! I wish Coho could also draw his Lass...Or a new, little puppy...Maybe soon...
My dog Allie is having a breat tumor surgery today... Wish us good luck!
And the "relay baton" goes to Dragon and "Zoe". I truly believe that if there is heaven our beloved pets will be the first ones to greet us there when our time comes.

I can't believe all the fabulous dog portraits! They are really good. One can identify likely breeds, even in the mutts! It makes me wistful. Lass, My 16 1/2 year old golden retriever, border collie mix died 3 years ago and I'm still not ready for a new dog. Its the only time in my entire life I haven't had a pooch by my side. Starting to think about it tho!
