1020, that is an astute observation ... often the simplest pictures prove very attractive. Matthew has also hit the nail on the head ... when we think we have done a good drawing, it sometimes hardly raises any interest, and yet other drawings can raise a surprising amount of interest, especially if there is banter going on, or the subject matter appeals to many people, irrespective of how good the drawing is.

...The drawings I do that impress me the most do not always impress other viewers...

...But some of the pics I do just playing around & often I almost don't submit get tons of responses...
