Login, no its not that. I have had a critique of a few of my paintings by an art expert. A critique like this usually mentions, shape, color, space etc. and whether you used them as you should. I just have felt comments at times sounded more like what I'd hear from a art critique rather than the usual TD comments. I have gotten more than one user posting to my drawings that they like my drawings but ......

I think they meant well, I just felt like I should say something since it has happened with different users. I'm not upset with anyone.

I'm not absolutely sure what you mean, DM. I've noticed that fewer and fewer people vote when they comment, but I put that down to the fact that the voting system is still open to abuse. If you are referring to the comments then yes, I think we are becoming more analytical (in a good way) when viewing drawings ... especially since the gift of the playback button. Maybe you mean that we are only viewing those drawings that are really eyecatching, in which case I have to agree to a certain extent. Over the past few days I have found the sheer numbers overwhelming and time consuming. I do intend to scan through later but I don't always get around to it.

Hiya, DMarcella..

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'critique' ? I thought we'd always judged other people's pictures (and our own) in what's probably a subjective manner, although I think most of us try and be as objective as possible.

Maybe if you can expand a bit on what you mean, and whether you think 'critique' is good or bad, that might help ? .. I'm awfully sorry, but it's very late where I am !

I have felt that it was creeping in for a long while now. Is anyone else feeling this way?
