Just saw this conversation - had noticed the intermittent PB effect long ago, but didn't think of trying it on the kaleidoscopes. Thanks for gathering that bunch, Clo - lot's of fun.

I will repost instructions.

When looking at a kaleidoscope picture, push the play button many times in rapid succession. It changes the way it plays, then after you let it stop and push again, it plays really fast, making pic look more like a kaleidoscope.

Works on any picture. Have fun.
