Now...I'm sitting here trying to figure out exactly which challenge this is and what to number it!!! Seems to be some confusion on the titles page. Rosie, I'l trust you to be right and I'll call it Mugdots ChallengeLXXXVI, as soon as I come up with a topic.

I am barely awake yet, and am still in shock. Wasn't expecting to be chosen but, thank you Rosie, for the honour! You had so many good entries and we barely scratched the surface of that categorie. I love how the current challenge/showcase subjects have become multilingual! It's so interesting. I Keep my appt. with the doctor and get back to you later with a new challenge.

Thank you for all your wonderful submissions to the Mugdot's LXXXV Common Phrases challenge. It was a challenge for me to decide a winner. I think they ALL are! Using my
husband as a second judge I found it easier to make a determination.

Clorophilla's "Saw the wind and reap the whirlwind" translates brilliantly through any
language.

Loved the idea Gemini8 had with "A house divided against itself cannot stand"

Liked Jaybuddy's interpretation of "blood thicker than water"

Randylynne's Watched Pot made me laugh.

Qsliv's beautiful depiction of the eye of the beholder was striking.

Lesley_gene your tortoise and hair pic had such detail and strength.

But, the one that I kept coming back to was Lizzi's "Bark is worse than his bite"

The innocence on that puppy's face just melted my heart. Lizzi, I pass the Mugdot baton on
to you! Congrats!

well, not exactly. We reap what we have sawn. If we saw bad things (envy, rough things, lies), we reap badder ones (evilness, violence, infamy, etc).
